The ELITE Dry Mate Connector is designed for those applications where the plug and receptacle will be fully mated in a dry environment and then submerged in salt or fresh water.
The product is designed to operate for 25 years at 294 bar (3,000 meters of water) and has been tested to 441 bar (4,500 meters of water). It can be populated with either electrical contacts or fiber optic termini.
